Terms of Service
Using the site
By using VisitPenang.com you agree to these terms. Please do not use the site if you do not agree. You may use it for personal travel planning. You must not:
- Copy or scrape the site's content without permission

Disclaimer
The site is provided “as is” and “as available”. Opening hours, prices and availability change, so check with the business or an official source before you go. We are a travel guide, not a booking agent, and we are not responsible for the services of the businesses listed. Some links are affiliate links: we may earn a commission if you book through them, at no extra cost to you.
What you submit
If you send us a review, photo, listing or other content, you give us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use and show it on the site. You confirm you own it or have permission to share it, and that it does not infringe anyone's rights. We may edit or remove submitted content.
The photo contest has its own terms.
Paid listings
A paid tier gives the features listed for it on the Sponsor page. It is billed monthly or yearly, by card or by invoice on request. A card subscription renews each period until you cancel.
To cancel, tell us through the contact form. Paid features stay on until the end of the period you have paid for, then the listing returns to Basic (free). If the person who paid is not confirmed as the owner of the listing, we refund in full within 7 days.
Paid placements are clearly labelled, for example “Sponsored”, and never change the normal order of listings. We may refuse or remove a listing.
Liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, VisitPenang.com is not liable for any loss or damage that comes from using the site or relying on what is on it, including travel disruption, booking disputes and inaccurate business information.
