Restoran Roti Canai Jalan Argyll is a veteran roti canai stall on Argyll Road (Jalan Argyll) in George Town, run for decades by the same family. It is the kind of unfussy morning spot Penangites rate alongside the better-known Transfer Road stall: dough slapped, stretched and griddled to order until the roti is crisp-edged and fluffy, then served with a ladle of curry.
