Ang Ang's Roastery

Ang Ang's Roastery is a homegrown Malaysian coffee roastery that started in Bukit Mertajam on the mainland before spreading across Penang island and beyond. It roasts its own beans and is known for carefully made drip and espresso coffee paired with pastries and a lineup of lighter, health-leaning plates. The cafes lean bright and minimalist — a comfortable spot to slow down over a pour-over — and regulars rate the baked goods as highly as the coffee. Ordering, pickup and delivery are also handled through the roastery's own app.
