The first Penang Bridge stays open, so from the island, cross on the first bridge and allow extra time. In 2025 the organisers ran shuttle buses to the start from the island and the mainland: check your runner's guide for the pick-up points.

Coming to watch

The bridge is closed to everyone except runners and race crew, so supporters gather at the start and finish at Aspen Vision City. The 10km field finishes by 8am and the last full marathon runners by 8.30am.
